Better with the black Cohiba and hot rail for distortion.
What is Soak anyway shoudnt that be "make em hot!"

yeh but its interesting as what we think might be awesome sometimes flops..I think I agree with "B"

some amps like being distorted and some dont. I plugged my catbowl gold foil into the cube ad vox combination and couldnt even get a decent sound from it.."A"....yet the cube on its own with it sounds fine...

althought on hearing back the "A" recording it sound ok..

my VOX vt 30 sounds not good compared to a mustang amp, but when you hear back a recording it sounds fine... I'm kinda facinated by the whole experince of tones possible and why and how....

I kinda have a rough rule for making tunes now that makes things work, but sounds can vary vastly...

with the wrong dialing in of the nobs etc...maybe we should aim for a bad sound to know what makes a great sound work....and discover new unchartered areas of tone...?
