Alcide "Slow Drag" Pavageau's homemade whiskey barrel bass - New Orleans Jazz Museum archives

http://www.nolajazzmuseum.org/ I got a special tour of the archives at the New Orleans Jazz Museum with curator, David Kunian. He showed me the homemade upright bass of jazz legend, "Slow Drag" Pavageau.

The museum has agreed to help me with history and information as I write my book, "Poor Man's Guitar." THANK YOU, NEW ORLEANS JAZZ MUSEUM!
