A new song about a much taken for granted British icon The Great North Road - I got the idea for the song when i heard the road remains a favourite with Truckers, everyone in the UK has used it at one time or another and are always glad to get off it, I've done a few ton up and down there myself, it's really not such a bad trip!
A taster from the new "Slowpaw Brew" mini-album, I shouldn't think I could manage this song live, it's really a band number though I'd enjoy seeing what a more talented player could do with it! (-;

Guitar : The Sheriff
Bass : Epiphone SG
Drums : Roland TD-12
Marshall AS50D, Boss Blues Driver / Distortion, Boss SE-70.

PLAY LOUD!

"A1(M)"

TRUCKER'S DREAM
CONSTANT STREAM
HUNDREDS OF JUGGERNAUTS
WITH NOTHING IN BETWEEN.

GREAT NORTH ROAD
WILL EXPLODE
BIGFOOT THUNDER
POUNDING DOWN THEIR LOAD.

CHORUS: A1(M)...A1(M)...A1(M)...

LIKE LOCOMOTIVES
THOSE ARTICS POUND
400 MILES OF TARMAC
TEARING UP THE GROUND.

PETROLEUM AND CAR PARTS
MAGAZINES AND GAS
BUILDING BRICKS AND BISCUITS
AND STUFF TO WIPE YOUR ASS.

CHORUS: A1(M)...A1(M)...A1(M)...

HERTFORD TO CAMBRIDGE
DONCASTER TO LEEDS
THIRSK AND OLD SCOTCH CORNER
TO BERWICK UPON TWEED.

HEAVY DIESEL ENGINES
RATTLING YOUR BRAIN
LONDON TO EDINBURGH
THERE AND BACK AGAIN.

CHORUS: A1(M)...A1(M)...A1(M)...

Like it.  You are getting better and better.   Song sure fit the video.  I would prefer the backroads...

Good playing Steve. Different while still being recognisably your work. Excellent.

Excellent 'Slowpaw'. Let me know when the mini-album is ready.

I must get some tutorials from you one day. Rock on...
