You're singing to the choir Shane. I've had 7 copyright strikes on my channel. I'm not sure who told you 3 and you're out, but that's not true because my channel still exists. Still, I think the YouTube patent trolls are ridiculous. There are people who've vlogged in public and gotten copyright strikes for songs on the radio in the background. C'mon YouTube. Really?

The problem w/ their system is its flawed and you can't truly dispute it. They say you can but you can't. All somebody has to do is file a copyright claim and that's it. YouTube never does any investigating. What's so sad about it is literally counter to the thing that made YouTube famous. Does everyone remember the first video on YouTube?

It was a place to share anything you want. Not a place to share approved content. I can see them being cautious about illicit content but trolling people's original music? C'mon YouTube. They really need to rethink their rules.

Oh dear Shane. You’re way far into it. You know much more than me about it. I haven’t been hit by any such yet but I suppose I will. I don’t like the whole idea of intellectual property. I think we all make our music on the shoulders of our musical predecessors. There’s only 8 notes, can’t have too many ways to play them. I’d hate to think youtube could take it away from you. I love it when I see a new video up on Nation from you. Wish we could go directly to Nation with our music. That’s where my viewers are anyways. I only have 25 subscribers on you tube anyways. I spose you have many more than I. I seldom get more than 25 views on Nation. How could that infringe on any buggers rights. I pray you stay on Nation and we can still hear your art with freedom and pleasure. Thumbs up to you Shane.
