Jim,  I got a banjo to use for awhile.   I can do the 'half speed'  like you first showed, pretty well.   Actually I like it that way.    I do much less well when I speed it up, but will try to do a few minutes most days and see what happens.   I seem to do better on the uke than the banjo.

Hey, sir.  If someone used the bum ditty on a 3 string, what would be a good tuning?   high g/ DB?

Wow, it hurts me to see a hammer that close to a thumb.

I am working on this now with my 5 string resonator tuned open G.
