A bowl resonator. He's called Ox. Let me know what you think.

Thanks Reg. I'd wanted a factory made resonator since for ever, could never afford one so I built me one. That's the essence of these blues roots instruments though, right? Whatever it takes to get what's inside, out. Thanks again my friend.

Most definitely a resonator guitar, I love the sound. Splendid slide as well, Mine are all ready made items.......

Thanks Nancy, glad you like the guitar. Equally glad that you can hear the practicing too. I feel like I've been doing lots of building lately and not so much of the playing but glad to say it hasn't abandoned me. Great picture by the way. You're the queen of finding these and they always bring a smile to my face. Thanks again and enjoy the rest of your day and week.

Thanks very much, Gary. Thanks also for the photo comment chats. I've enjoyed conversing with you. Very glad to hear you like the guitar too. Made a couple of adjustments over the weekend and I think it's sounding even better. Certainly more of the resonator sound and volume acoustically. Thanks again. Much appreciated.

Bear - great job!  Nice looking, and sounding, 6-string!  Well done!

Thanks, Doc. I'm glad to hear that you can hear the practicing. I feel like I've been a bit of a building machine of late so it's nice to hear that it hasn't affected my playing. Thanks again and have a great rest of the weekend.

Thanks Erasmo. It's kind of special to me. My first ever six string build, my first ever electric pickup cut into the soundboard, first resonator that's worked worth mentioning, and probably the best sounding guitar I've built to date. I've got a lot to learn with building but I can see that I've come a long way already! Glad that you like it too. Thanks again :)

Thanks very much, Mr Lunsford. Glad that you like the video and the guitar.

I'm amazed it's turned out so well to be honest but I think I'm just realising how much I enjoy that subtle difference of a resonator bowl with an electric pickup. I'm not sure just how much the bowl is interacting with the pickup but I think I can detect a subtle difference between it and a none-resonator cigar box (style) guitar when amplified through its single coil pickup. Of course, I could be totally imagining the whole thing but there does seem a certain "something" different going on.

Thanks again for the kind comments and encouragement, Mr Lunsford. I really appreciate it.
