Thank you John. I always found the Hoodoo references in Blues songs interesting. Hot foot powder...John the Conquer root, or John the Conqueroo, Mojo Hand, etc. A little google searching brings up a wealth of info. Enjoy the Season.

Thank you friends for your comments. I am going to continue to experiment with the string guages and tunings. The drone could use a slightly heavier gauge (.013). Right now I'm tuned aEA using a .010 for the drone and a standard D and G tuned up to E and A. So, basically it is set up 151 like our regular 3 string CBG configuration. I am going to post some traditional country blues stuff too, because altering the drone and E string creates that iconic alternating banjo bass. Enjoy.
