You  are so right. The more I sit down with this CBG, the more stuff comes out of it. I can see were certain stuff actually works better on it. Like it was probably done on CBG first. This is the roots.  I've been to a lot of the branches and twigs. I thought I had been to the roots, but not like this. I'm lovin' it.

Nice playing Bruce! Ya, I know all about wanting all six strings. But once you get the real feel for it music starts poring out. You become an open tuning junky. Find new things and sounds with every different tuning you try.If you have a way to record yourself all the time you might want to start. If your like me the ideas will come faster than you'll be able to remember them. Welcome to the sickness!  )

Been playing most of my life, but never on a CBG until this one got finished about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I still find myself going for other strings, so soon I will build a 4 string.

I love the way these things are tuned!
