- Well to start I bought a banjo a couple years ago and have not been able to find a teacher and it's a difficult instrument to learn .I was online and ran across a video of a guy playing a diddly bow and he was kicking ass on a one stringer and I was like , Hey, I can start out with one string and work my way up ! Here's maybe a little interesting note for ya'll. I live in the little town that Bo Diddly is from and I know his family. I'll send a photo of his Tomb stone if it's possible on this site. It's big and kinda cool looking. Have a great day and hope I'm accepted , either way I'm building one and am going to start my jam. Later
