Via C. B. Gitty.com
How many instruments have you built so far?
7 total. Built 3 standard ukuleles, then 2 CB ukes, and the 4 string tenor kits.
What do you find most interesting about cigar box guitars? (If you do not enter something meaningful here (at least one sentence long), your membership may be rejected as a spam/bot fake account).
The entire process of building these guitars without having to stick to a plan, the opportunity to bring My ideas into reality, and of course, playin' them! Each one I build is my " new" favorite. I'm always looking at pieces of wood and hardware!

Greetings from N. E. Washington!

Hi! I'm up here in the northeast corner of Washington state. Around 100 miles from Canada, and 40 from good 'ol Idaho. I have played around with music for over 50 years. I know! So old. Anyway, played piano since childhood, then I painted a house for an acoustic guitar. Taught myself to the point that I sound like I practice 15 minutes a day. When I had shoulder surgery, I could'nt get my arm over a standard guitar. So, I built a stewmac concert, and tenor ukulele. And then: I found CBG's..... If I had only known years ago. So, I'm hooked. Now after over a year of having a project on the bench, I'm gonna work on playing for a while. At least until winter. I am excited to be here, because I always need ideas and options. And I like to show my projects, and some pretty good hacks too. Pix Pending!

I have a touch of PPD today (post project depression). The bench is all cleaned up, but nothing pending. The plan is to focus on playing for awhile. I am excited for that. These 4 string tenors are for me to play. Custom made, set up for me, the…
