howdy uncle john,to get the sound holes done on my jack daniels tin build,i used a hole saw bit in a drill,but-i made the drill turn in reverse with a board directly under the tin.the reason i used reverse turning was cause the teeth on the bit are large and is meant for wood,so it cuts metal better and safer turning in reverse, but it takes a little longer this way.after the hole is drilled through the tin you can dress the edges of the hole with a small round file, like what is meant to sharpen a chain saw blade. hope this helps ya.

Thatnks for the kind words, John. And thanks for the idea for the fret markers. The green one was for a buddy of mine and he loved them. It's actually kind of hard to tell what they even are until you look close, but they really stand out with the dark burned wood. I see you've got some new postings. Can't look at them at work, but I'll be sure to check them out when I get home.

Same here! I knew the name Blind Willie Johnson but not until the tribute CD did I have his recordings, It was like the first time I heard Robert Johnson but on a whole different level.

Hey John thanks thats good advice as I always was slightly annoyed when Dylan or Led Zeppelin would put songs on their albums and make no mention as to the original writers. I figured people on the nation were in the know as to the original writers to these songs but I will make sure I give due credit

Thanks John, the pressure was on! The lady on the left playing guitar is one fine harp player and can blow circles around most anybody. When she tossed me a solo, I dug deep to come up with something different. I think I did ok.

The crazy thing is true. I've been doing music for 20 + years and the cbg thing hit me and it has become an obsession. But its cool.
