Hiya..there'll be a variety of food on offer to cater for pretty much all eventualities in the dietary requirements...we'll do our best to keep everyone happy!
Hello,
I have started a CBN group entitled, "How to Play CBG" It is my hope and intention to encourage the "Wealth of Talent" here on the Nation to share their knowledge and skill to further the CBG movement. Please consider contributing an instructional "video" link to this group. If you are a viewer seeking instruction, please feel free to write. If you have any suggestions or know other players who you think may want to post instructional "video" links, please contact me. Thank you for your interest and support, Keni Lee

or just google "ground glass locomotive"
i have successfully built my first cbg, it plays and the piezo pickup works. I need to look at getting some more volume off it acoustically, perhaps need to look at dimensions of box. I'll stick some photos up when i get the chance...
thanks I got your leaflet about the cigar box amp, haven't got around to it yet, went into maplins and got a dumb look when I asked for some of the things, so i think i may just look to purchase off their website...
Hi David, three things which I'll put into 3 separate e-mails. regarding your stomp box, have a look at this site, http://www.tomdukich.com/stomp%20box.html ...
smojo duude that struff is ausum i had a look at ur blog lovely stuff i'm in the middle of a few cbgs ur ma inspiration. one tip tho keep the cuban nicaraguan stikkers on (or gule back on after varnish lacker ect.)
Hi David
I'm using the bottom four strings from a set of 9's i tried the top four to start with but they sounded a bit heavy for my style the strings are Ernie Ball custom gauge (set # 2223) 24 , 16 , 11 , 9 i like the tone they produce a sort of eary sound
Thanks again mate
Hi David
Thanks for your kind words
i have three tunnings that i've been playing around with they are AEAC" GDGB & GCGC
hope there some use to you
Many thanks once again
thanx dude ,i hear you may have cigar boxs..im in the middle of my first build but am twitching to start the next..having real trouble locating my next box.if you could help i would be gratfull....chears
hey man that tuning is d-a-d-d i dropped the bottom to d to match the string above it for the double effect to make it different. when i start the fingerpicking i use the bottom two then on the next round i use the bottom string and the second from top, then when i go to the headstock i use the top three. that guitar taught me that song but i trained it to be similar to your tune that inspired me so much. i started slow then got a little faster with fingerpicking then got even faster with strum then slowed it back down to finish the same way i started and for fun i threw in a few harmonics.... there will be more to come on many different guitars because now i know how to do the video thing so i,ll drop you a message when the next one is up.
