Ah, ma  Great Uncle: Willoughby MacBlues. He was a simple man, and went thru most of life  confused. He could not hear or talk very well. He went to the doctors, later in life (too mean ta spend money on a Doc until things got really bad!). Doc explained that Great Uncle Will had went thru life puttin his "ear trumpet" to his mouth (the old time MacBlues were NOT the world's brightest). Ah, thanks God for family trees, Clock, ma man ;)

Thanks mate, I looked on Ebay and never found one, did find one made out of a reindeer antler though - bought that one ! Not as hard as bone though so you don't get quite the same sound.

I'll be buying one of the ones you found though. You're a hero :- )
