i got my tribute bow today-- it is a great piece of work --i thank you very much. gonna get practiced up wit it so i can play a tune on it. thanks again for your time and efforts on a great instrument of magnificent proportions.
thanks susan, fer da comment about ditto on delvero,s words,i am humbled, just stopped by ta say im fixin ta load some pics of progress on the Dulcinator. hope to have it making music in a few days. thanks again.
Thank you for your comment. I try not to take myself too seriously. Playing should be fun and uplifting. If you are not feeling it as a performer, the audience won't either. Enjoy.
thanks no 1-- i havent forgot about you. i get 3 weeks off of werk soon so i,ll be hittin the post office to get you some more bairfoot cajun builds to ya. i got tons of ideas that i havent put into effect yet, they just waitin in line till the time is right. thanks susan hunt i appreciate you.
Thanks Susan for your comment on my 2nd build. I wouldn't go that far to say it is beautiful, it is easy on the eye. I am glad you like it. I have a couple things to fix on it, though.
Hello Susan, the Purgatory Hill show Friday night was mesmerizing.I had the best seat in the bar and couldn't take my eyes off of Pat playing the Lowebow. In between a break, Pat and I were discussing Cigar Box Nation and I asked if I could post a review of the show on CBN.His eyes lit up when I mentioned CBN and it was so cool when he said that he had seen the guy in the "Pig Mask" on there before.PH played for over 3 hours themselves for a $5.00 cover charge!! and then they both signed a CD for me after the show, such cool people!!.Such a cool night out,Good Friends and Great Music!!!,Michael.
Good morning Susan,I saw you in the PURGATORY HILL Fan Club.Have you seen them yet?.My cousin and I are going to Minneapolis tomorrow night to check them out.It should be fun,I'll have to let you know how the show went.Have a great day,Michael.
Hi Susan !For starters.... Thanks for checking out my video! This is my build but, that's not me, That is Will Ray of the Hellecasters I built this guitar as well as a custom for him. And yes , he is the inventor of the stealth-slide ring. He wears two on his fretting hand and one on his pick hand. I just got one from Will a few months back, They are really a great slide. Allows you to still fret and use your finger as a finger, as well as have a slide readily available. If you check my other videos there are some of the custom CBG I built for Will aswell....

Hello Susan,I'm glad we can be friends. When I decided to start building CBGs,I felt I needed a gimmick to help me stand out in the crowd..hence the mask.Too many of the other builders just lean their guitars against a wall or tree to take pix,I wanted people to say "What Th' Hell?" and then click on my listing.Yes I'll admit it is a little creepy but out of 42 CBGs Iv'e sold, I've only had to relist 1.So please don't be put off my marketing tactic as you can always sic your guard dog on me!!.Have a great day Susan,Michael.
hello susan just stopped by to answer yer question about the whiskey bow. i havent sold it and i switched canisters.the Balvenie whiskey canister got the first dowell neck that the rum canister was on originally. the rum canister is getting another similar neck with fingerboard but it will have 2 strings instead of one. i have 3 more canisters that will eventually get built into something too. to be honest i have not sold any of the builds i have---i gave several away and made one trade for the 6-string shoeshine box build. talk with ya later susan. if you have interest in these or want to build one for yourself, i will be glad to help out or talk more about it with you.
Happy Sunday folks. I've wanted to cover this 1981 Merle Haggard tune for a while and I decided today is the day. Here's a stripped down cover with nothing b...
