A while back I bought 3 or 4 old parlor guitars on Ebay, I am in the process of working on one now... Sounds like you might have one in your future? I got a copy of the neck resetting video from Stewmac... Of course now I can't find it...

Thanks for your comments. I did make the tongue drum and several others. Plan on more in the future. They are fun.

Nudge, thanks for the comment! Glad you liked the cutout. We started with cutouts, actually--out of necessity more than style. We could only find those type of tuners here locally, so thought we'd give it a shot! Hope yours turns out well. Let's see the pictures, too!

Hey Nudge, I don't know if you got the answer I sent from my smart phone... The neck on the four string resonator is a bolt on.. I used a barrel nut like you would (could) on a acoustic guitar.... It's not that tricky and it allows me to set the neck angle. Just my way of doing it..Nothing more sinister then that... Take care - Jim

Thank you for the kind words. I have enjoyed building everyone of them. Just making bridges and jigs while I wait to get my next order.

Ha,..........good to know that you know 'Costo's & Krista" they are good friends of ours, we eat at "Sophia's" quite often, wicked small world, isn't it? (:>}

'Shara Wormwood' in Limerick is our Vet, has been since we lived here.

Yeah, I get the WILD beard thing a lot, especially in the winter when I just let it go long, call it my "Winter Coat" don't you know, helps keep my delicate skin protected from the harsh Maine elements. LOL !

I don't get over to Limmington much, just pass through sometimes on the way up to Whindam if going the back way to get away from Rt-25, use to stop at "Two Trails" for a coffee but it's changed and I don't much care for the way it is now.

Well, if you spot me in a teal 2000 Dodge Dakota Sport don't hesitate to holler.

Cool beans, we're neighbors, don't know about getting together to play, I've only just begun to try and play a CBG and I'm not really very good.
