Thanks for the details on scale length and tuning. I'm always curious as to how others are doing things. You are building some very cool instruments.

Thanks Lowe. I gutted a few T.V. sets years ago and still have some old wire left... The blade pickup sounds different because i wind the bobbin shorter and fatter, more bass and mids. I like them on my CBG's, and the same pickup can be used on 1,2,3, or 4 stringers. i hope that answers yur guestion... keep buildin cool stuff..

I have always been highly impressed by the craftsmanship and tone of the guitars built by tinyguitars. Most buliders here on the Nation build strickly electric. You are certainly up there in my humble opinion as one of the best acoutical builders too. Everytime you post a video of one of your latest creations, I know I am in for a treat. Keep up the nice work.

Just paired up high strings? Silly me, I should have guessed that. I love paired strings, especially octave pairings.

Thank you for your comment about my busking video. Well, basically here there is only one more week till labor day and the kids go back to school. It seems like everybody is finished with their summer vacations and they go back to the same old grind. Summer goes just too fast. Enjoy.

Hello,
I have started a CBN group entitled, "How to Play CBG" It is my hope and intention to encourage the "Wealth of Talent" here on the Nation to share their knowledge and skill to further the CBG movement. Please consider contributing an instructional "video" link to this group. If you are a viewer seeking instruction, please feel free to write. If you have any suggestions or know other players who you think may want to post instructional "video" links, please contact me. Thank you for your interest and support, Keni Lee

Yes, your perspective is true. I guess everyone is out there just trying to make a buck. If it is free, someone will figure out a way to lay claim to it and make you pay for it. You know NYC Mayor Bloomberg stated we are free because we have laws. We are a country of law. Yikes!!! Does anyone remember natural or inalienable rights? Just because you can...doesn't mean you should. (Stepping down from soapbox now LOL)

Well, in NYC the law on the book states, you don't need a permit to play on the streets if you use no amplification. So, why a permit for Times Square.? On the subways I've never had a problem. Actually, performers are usually nice to each other. You don't want to involve the Police. On the street, they tell you to move, if you don't, that is refusing a lawful order by a Police office. Then there is creating a public disturbance, blocking the sidewalk.......etc. What most people don't understand is you have civil rights only when you don't use them. If people tried to use them, they would be shocked by the truth. I think we are all going to suffer for our indifference to not support those who fight.

Thank you for all your warm wishes. After years of playing "in" NYC (and I mean "in" as in under the ground LOL), I will have the opportunity to be on the actual streets and not worry about the Police. I learned this Rev. Gary Davis song "Oh Glory" or "How Happy I Am" from Woody Mann many years ago. The melody line just popped back into my head the other day. I never meet the Naked Cowboy, but it seems only the woman love him. Hey but he is out there fighting for "Free Speech" You got to respect that. LOL Enjoy.
