Being an old guy who has received so much positive feedback in such a short period of time for doing something fun, I wonder what might happen to the 'lost' youth of our country if they could experience such unconditional acceptance. The whole CBG experience, albeit short for me, has been unbelievable. Not only have I found a new hobby, but I am making friends with some very nice people. Thanks. Perhaps you can tell me how I might go about learning how to play this thing. ;-)

This is of course my opinion and I still respect the 'there are no rules' policy of building cigar box guitars. Interesting that you play pool left handed. My brother is left-handed and plays guitar and banjo right handed. My dad is right-handed and chops wood left-handed.

But this is how you install MY cones a regular cone install is a lot different but the setup part is the same as far as how you center your cone and get the bridge in the right spot.

I love listnening to bluegrass music, I have lots of Cd's and DVD's.
I try playing bluegrass banjo and mandolin, and flatpicking guitar.
I play in a Scottish trad music group, and lots of jam sessions.
I visited Nashville 2 years ago, My wife bought me a Martin D15 in Grhuns guitar strore on broadway. Been to the opry at the Rhyman, seen Del Mcoury, and Ricky Scaggs, and others had a great time.
