Hi Joe. The bridge on the Macanudo Gold is a piece of white Corian counter top about 1/4" wide and filed to shape. Thanks for the comments!

That yellow strip is an old hacksaw blade. It's in place to add alittle strength at my thinest spot on the neck. That was the first time i had got to work with maple. And I wasn't sure how it would hold up. I was just doing a test. Seems to be pretty strong.Ill let you know if it warps. Thanks for stopping in.And thanks for the nice comments

Hey Joe
I got tuners at Music Makers yesterday and almost finished her up last night.
There are two or three other guitar shops on that end of Lamar. What strings and tuning was on the guitar I played at your house?
Thanks.
Jason

Thanks for the comment Joe!

Yes the beer hole is pretty much the standard configuration now days.
I haven't made one with out a beer holder in a couple of years.
In fact the first Lowebro had a beer hole and I believe only two since then have been with out it.

yes joe every one is different, i guess you could say i like one-of-a-kind stuff. i built about 250 leather guitar straps since 2004 and the first 200 were never duplicated. all one of a kind. i am always experimenting with sound so that is another reason why i dont duplicate guitars very much. thanks for tha cool comments, they are appreciated.

no problem on the low funds - i totally understand. i had to take a long break on another project so i actually haven't sold that one yet, but i am gearing up to do so. can i use some of your comments about the pickup in my advertising, and your name?

hey joe, nice to meet ya. I go to Austin every once in while. I have a handfull of good friends there so maybe we could meet up. My son keeps me at home most of the time. I built my first cbg in june '08 and ever since then I can't stop. I have only made five, but your right with each one I get better. Don't really know how to play guitar very well and anything I do know is open cord with a slide. It seems that I spend more time making them then learning to play 'em.

The Partargas box sounded amazing. Especially with the bone bridge. If I hadn't promised it to someone as a Christmas gift, I would have kept it myself.

Thanks for the kind words, Joe! It was my first. You've made some nice stuff yourself and I have to agree with Brian - that Cash model is beyond cool...

Hi Joe,

Thanks for asking about "Songs Inside The Box." It's not available for sale yet, but it will be early in 2009. We'll have an announcement here when it goes on sale.
