Good to see you on Saturday. Didn't see any others from the nation though? Great event - looking forward to next year. Another one to add to the growing calendar along with the CBG Fest!

I stumbled upon ya at the tube, one day=I perpetually stumble around there, ina happy blissful state,...anyway, fell in love with ya at first strum,...the strumstick!...thanks for hand ofriendship, I'm a fan!

ChickenboneJohn, very nice CBGs, great design. I like your songs.
congrats and very well deserved-I've long considered 'bone to be the UK's Shane Speal.
Chickenbone John has been building. selling and promoting CBG's for years in his own British, self depreciating, quiet, businesslike way.He is, quite simply, the real thing. The first CBG I ever bought? thats right-built in Birmingham by Chickenbone John.
Hiya mate, yup the Castrol is nearly done! Im all for the tin opener approach (leaving the rolled edge of course) but if I was doing another, I would do the internal block differently. I got a bit carried away and cut the block too short, so had to add the 'top and bottom' bits which kind of defeated the easy access idea! Need to come up with a solution for getting my neck sockets and bridges perfectly lined up too.... strat necks are a little wider than SG junior bridges!! ho hum...
if you are looking for helpers for the second cigarbox festival, I would be willing to offer my services on the day provided that a date is arranged in enough time for me to be able to book some time of work.

Oh excellent, that's great news! I'm a photographer by profession (partly) and I was taking images for the Fest n Furious Festival here in Dundee lately - I saw the Hot Seats live and was very taken with their music.... I bet I would have liked the CBG Festival! and then I got to remembering Seasick Steve on Jules Holland a while back and got looking at CBGs on Utube and well here I am.... :) do you have a website with instruments for sale or are they made to order?
Cheers for the jam last night. Pretty cool if you ask me!!!! Its great to be backed by quality musicians, makes me feel a bit better about my playing and you keep me in time ha ha! What a great site this is. cheers.
Hi mate, hope all is well. Good chatting the other day. Quick Q - Im terrible with names - remind me who the chap was that sang a song at the show, Mothers something? I think it the chap who won the cbg just a few weeks ago? I have the video to post but wanbt to get his name right!!
