Hey Andries, an update on the bass I'm making. I'm using Aquila Thundergut strings which are made for 21' scale bass ukeleles. I've seen a few folks on CBN who've done similar so I'm copying those ideas with some of my own tossed in. I don't think the acoustic sound will be great so this is one of my few builds which will have electronics added. I like your idea on heavy classical strings and may also give that a try if I make one for acoustic playing.
Thanks for waiting a few days on Eyesight, Andries. Just right.
A good song I can not do well enough right now is Chumpman Blues. Might be a good one for you. There are some good examples on youtube.
Andries, i listen to free Pandora radio on line. I can make my own station there like Delta blues, or classic blues, or Ledbelly, etc. Great place to learn blues songs and history.
Thanks Andries. Thanks for the greeetz and all the great comments. Now that I've listened to most of the Christmas download I'm working my way to Go Tell It On The Mountain. I'm sure it will be good!
Yeh just have a go with some riffs and send me some workings and I will see what i can do with them.. or we can have a go at a song or just make up an original i'm fairly flexible.. any ideas?..
The best way is always start with a beat...even if its hitting a book at regular intervals for drums and keepin time to... got any songs you fancy doing?
let me know if ya need me to email you a drum track or something?

I have used dropbox but yes it downloads something as a folder to share
you can delete it afterwards.. I can take fairly big emails if you can send em
Hightails or Dropbox, googl transfer etc..
Sure thing if you can separate out the tracks that would be easier
when I recorded it I got what I got and couldn't mix your end, and drums sounded great but I lost your guitar...
separate tracks is best if possible
thanks for the feedback on the Punch - my best one so far - gifted it to my barber Angelo!
Thanks Andries. I'm working on a bass ukelele now since I've never had one in my collection.
A work in progress..

Happy New Year Andries! I'm back from Bacchus and workin' on new stuff for the coming year. Looking forward to it!
but your full moon aint till the 4th or 5th .
Can not get to your Chumpman. If you like the song, do it.
Andries, another good one, but not blues. Lyle Lovett's "If I Had A Boat."
