Hi Keith,
Thanks for the compliments Keith.
And the cigarbox friendship.
Nice looking instruments you have there.
I like the one with the different tones of wood
in the fretboard and the f-holes....nice!

I bet it is nice where you live. Not too far, and not too close to the beach.

Yeah, the big old mossy oak trees on the island are so pretty. If they could tell a story, oh what a story!! Thank you, I am glad you like the photo. I noticed you are from Al. we are neighbors.

Hey Keith, I'm still tryin'. But with problems with my Mother going into Hospice Care at a nursing home in New Orleans and drivin' over there on the week-ends and tryin' to get some practice in with my music buddies Don and Pam to play some Christmas music this Sunday evening at Cogburn West. Doesn't leave a lot of time to be tryin' to learn to play something new. But don't give up on me. I'm still tryin' to get it worked out. Hope you and your family have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.
Your buddy,
Ron

Hi Keith, what a great site. I'm still tryin' to figure out how much info is on here. I'm still workin' with your 4 string and tryin' to get it tuned to where I can get somethin' out of it. I sure didn't expect this much trouble but to me it's quite different from 6 string rhythm playin'.

Regarding wood bracing: everything you do to the body changes the sound. The trick is to find a happy medium where the body is well supported AND there is not so much material that you've destroyed the acoustic properties of the box.

Hello,
I have started a CBN group entitled, "How to Play CBG" It is my hope and intention to encourage the "Wealth of Talent" here on the Nation to share their knowledge and skill to further the CBG movement. Please consider contributing an instructional "video" link to this group. If you are a viewer seeking instruction, please feel free to write. If you have any suggestions or know other players who you think may want to post instructional "video" links, please contact me. Thank you for your interest and support, Keni Lee
