I've played guitar since my youth, and a little bit of banjo, but you know, since I started making cigar box instruments a few years ago, it has really opened up a new world of musical possibilites. I sense it's like that for you, too. These simple little instruments just invite you sit around on the back porch and plink up new things! I'm absolutely a beginner at recording, though! Just started messing with that over the summer. Maybe try putting together a cd someday...

As for the banjos, I used several different ones for my songs, but not the green Macanudo one --it's long gone. "Evensong" was done on the Corina Larks banjo of which a pic is in my photos.
