Hey Papa - I saw you post in the chat room about the 3-way switch.  Check this out.  The second diagram is a good one.  http://www.1728.com/guitar.htm  See Ya!

Hi Papa,  RE: the resonator biscuit--  you know how there always needs to be downward pressure from the strings to the saddle to make for good sound.   How the tail -piece must be enough lower than the saddle, etc.  Right or wrong, I was worried about too much downward pressure on that nice resonator.  So, I think what I did was cut the dowel so there would be space between it and a neck support, but not much- so if it pushed the cone down too much it would relieve the pressure.  Keep in mind that I am a hack builder!   Good luck, sir.  I hope you get a great sounding, great playing CBG.

Hey PapaSimone, welcome to Wisconsin CBG group, it's good to see another member from the "frozen tundra" area. You're pretty close to me, we'll hafta' get together sometime. I'm in Waterford. I was checkin' out your photos, some cool stuff. I especially like your key-hole tail-piece idea !

HA! Ya, I'm sure the weather in Milwaukee is pretty rough this time of year! That's what makes your city one of the cities with the toughest real Americans.

HI
Order Jacks from CB Gitty or other guitar electronics supply
Get a Piezo from CB Gitty or ... CB gitty
little solder job ...
put em in a soup can.
It'll squeal so take it easy on your amp.
You can SHIELD it better than I did.
THANKS

A speaker will work the way a piezo will. If you send current to it, it will make sound, if you reverse that and send vibration (sound) thru it the other way, it produces current!

Here you go PapaSimone. The percussion thing is made from two plastic electrical junction covers glued together with BBs inside. Here's a link where I found it. Enjoy!

There is a real good singer, bottleneck player, and kazoo player by the name of Bottleneck John. Lately he posted a video playing duets with a tuba player. I saw this photo and thought of him. Thanks for your comment. Enjoy.
