Gretsch makes great guitars too.

I've always wanted a Gretsch Jet Firebird.

Since Fender has acquired Gretsch, they’re pushing the brand back into the markets they had to trim back on during they’re financial hardships. I’m glad they’re not turning the brand into a stepchild & making a bunch of garbage? These reso’s are worthy of being played?

Those hound dogs are about $450+ here in the states, have you seen the Gretsch boxcar? They’re about $100 cheaper & play like butter in comparison?

The Danelectro is a payble guitar here as well ,made known to us by the Band Golden Earring, but those Japanese  Teisco,never hit the spot here, i found some real dobro houndogs verry cheap,thinking about one.but olso like the Harley benton rezzonator electric. im for as much guitar for as little money!

That DC 59 is actually the Jimmy Paige modified model, complete with a Leo Quan Badass bridge , I have my 59’ set up like that, I also have a 58’ DC,but I left everything stock

Thanks, I do the best with what I have. It challenges me.

I've always liked the Teisco Spectrum 5, Eastwood has started remaking them. Also want a Danelectro DC 59.
