So it was raining here today, and I felt well enough to shape the head stock...I like one better, it flows nicer with the body.

It's not made yet Steve....but It's started. Got the body cut.....working on the neck today. Jef thank for the tip, and your support offer....I may need to take you up on that. Thanks for your comments all.

Sorry, I forgot too give details.

1. 24" scale on spalted maple fret board

2. x2 Dan Sleep Malpe Sleeptalkers, with Maple surrounds

3. top and head stock will be red pearloid

4. Custom burned cover plates on back side

5. Bone inlays

6. Brass Skulls, and hardware

7.  Finish Red Sodona and tung oil.

8. Custom tailpiece and bridge.

9. Spruce body, 3/4 ply plywood ( this strange part....I wanted the edging to have that plywood edging effect for some odd reason.)

Sagely advice...

Rout the neck slot first, before you cut the shape, before anything....
Everything comes from that....
