You can make contact with the bottom of the box at the ends like this?

It's great to have some idea of what you're doing before you do it but don't be afraid to just jump in and start building... and if you get something wrong don't worry... there's always next time.

And there will be a next time... because I don't think anybody has ever built just one CBG. It's an addiction.  :D

Hi Keith, Thanks.  I'm not very comp. literate.. I found it in posts under building basics,  I just clicked on hism name and went to his home page.  I found the sketch interation in that he didn't glue the neck to the top, just on the ends and bottom.  To maximize vibration,I thought, and he confirmed it.  I'm trying to gain as much knowlege as I can before I start my project.  You buy acoustic guitars, they feel good, they sound good, they look good, you make them it pays to have some idea what I'm doing.  Thanks,  G

Where is the sketch at? Can you cut, copy, and paste it here? Will assume that you found it here on the nation? If you did, you could click on his name and leave him a message. Or you can leave a post where it is at, and he should get an email, that he can respond to.
