What do you find most interesting about cigar box guitars? (If you do not enter something meaningful here (at least one sentence long), your membership may be rejected as a spam/bot fake account).
When you pick up an instrument that is unlike the standard six string guitar you have to ask yourself all over again - what sound can I get out of this? A simple and enjoyable question that should be fun to answer - and a refreshing change from why can't I get this thing to sound the way Johnny Marr does? the way John Squire does? or Bert Jansch did or J.J Cale did or Bo Ramsey does or ....well you get the idea! CBGs let us take away the pressure of expectation and play some music for fun. Feels good right?
