Hi There Michael, what i use is acryllic lacker, dryes quick,works fast, synt

lacker, takes more layers,and needs sanding inbetween,but gives the most durable layer, and woodglue, don't bee mistaken its white at first but dryed up its transparend, it binds and gives a goog layer protection i use BISON glue myself verry durable,good for wood and paper, hope this works out for you, let me know how it workt out !!
