Zip noise thing as you slide across the string. There is a group just on strings. Look it up and check it out if you haven't go to groups and forums at the top  of the page and have fun seeing what is available.

I have done two builds so far. Both sounded great as acustic, but had to amp them anyway - sounds better to me since you get that reverb and growl.
