This box made a beautiful instrument. Sound holes on the back, as owner did not want box top altered. Sounds great as a 4 stringer even though it is hardboard top rather than wood.

Installed the 2.5 watt prewired amp into this nice box. Put the speaker in the back to save the box design. Sounds great and easy to change battery.

Profile Information

How did you learn about Cigar Box Nation?: I was gifted a Cigar Box kit about a year ago.

How many instruments have you built so far?: I just finished instrument number 22, a cigar box fiddle.

What do you find most interesting about cigar box guitars? (If you do not enter something meaningful here (at least one sentence long), your membership may be rejected as a spam/bot fake account).: The wide variety of styles of building custom instruments, and being able to learn more about how CBG's are made and played. I also like the sounds you can get from inexpensive builds.
