Wes is away from his computer for a few days. He has admired a cbg of mine that looks like the red faced git. I am building him a lefty relic build. The plan was for it to be like mine, a red faced lefty version. But it sure looks good with the white face. Help me choose Wes (the cigar box amp man) Carl's cbg. Red face or white face.

Frets: my own thing.  I don't seem to have much use for frets 6, 8, and 9, so I leave em out.  Makes doing the shuffle stuff work better~ where I barre at 5 and shuffle up and down on the middle string at 7  -- and same when I barre 7 and shuffle the middle at 9.

Rich, if ends up being the white side, would paint the fret markers white.

I think it is great just like it is ... If u paint it red u'll cover up the lord clinton ,,which will kill the box ..personel opinion

I'd normally say white, but since it's a relic build I'd go with red.

Good question.  I built it how I like it.  I don't seem to have need for the 6th, 8th or 11th frets.  And set up like it is, it makes it really easy to do shuffle stuff.
