That's a great idea John! I'd be flattered. I bought my "bridge" at Hobby Lobby. Its 2 metal spikes welded together. Could easily bevrecreated out of oak or walnut.

I have a bible box that I will get around to making into a dulcimer fretted strummer and I will 'borrow' this bridge idea. Best wishes.

I like your metaphor about the "bridge" John. I wish I was thinking that deeply when I thought to put it on there...haha. Truth is I just thought it would look cool. Maybe it was divine intervention?!?! If I could get a little of that intervention with my playing now... I took 2 hours of video building this thing. I'm hoping to trim it down and put out the video. Gotta find some decent software for splicing video footage on the cheap.

Very nice and I sure like the bridge. Hunh. I guess the cross has always represented a bridge, but I never thought of it that way. From sin to forgiveness and salvation.
