The next two wine box guitars

Here in the UK we don’t get through many cigars, but we’re just over the sea from a vast lake of wine. I’m not too sold on French red- gimme Italian any day- but they use cedar crates to ship the stuff in bottles, and we can use the crates... Here we see the two long sides of a couple of crates carefully separated with 32mm pine, the edges bevelled, then sanded and oiled. One final rub over with 400 grit and they’ll be ready to wax.

It’s also the room with the boiler in, so it’s good for getting oil coats to go off. And after dark it’s got the best light. And chickens, but that’s another story...
