Thanks again BrianQ! I’m glad you mentioned oversized sound hole inserts; I had some fleeting thoughts in that direction. I need rethink the idea because you are right, there are plenty of possibilities. This was my first attempt with 3/8” holes, they pressed in nicely, and I was pleased with the results. I have been doing it with 1/4” holes just to make them visible and to add some interest (I had to hammer those in!).

Clean look!! Have you tried printing oversized grommets for the sound holes yet? That would be awesome, because you could make them in every color!
