Upcycled practice Guitar Amplifier

Ever want to play on AM radio in 1970? This General Electric Model P1873A portable Solid State transistor radio has been hacked and turned into a guitar practice amp. The amp sounds mellow and cool and like playing guitar on AM radio in 1970. The amp overdrives in a nice crunchy way when the volume is turned way up. It's like joining the Kinks or Derek and the Dominos on the radio.

Very kool Papa I've been trying to find a way to do that for about 6 months and cant get a answer. Can you explain how it was done or maybe point me in the right direction. Thanks.............Dave
