Gary, I did not understand before.  Yup.  That would be doable.  I kind of want to keep the hubcap intact.  I think I can work it out.

UJ, the lip that is sticking up on the back is what held the cap to the wheel, as I'm sure you already know. What I have done to lower the cap is to cut that lip off with a cut off wheel, either in a die grinder or Dremel tool. I presume you do not intend to return this to Linda's vehicle so no harm done by altering the cap.

Nice just keep her on the side of the car with both hubcaps on easy fix UJ.
