The tuna can tricone I took it one step further, each can has a spring in it. Haha Looking forward to having the tricone finished and hearing how it sounds.

Comment by Vern Hallett on April 9, 2018 at 9:51am: At the local hardware store. Or your grand dad's screen door. It's just a piece of screen door spring cut and stretched (tension) between a couple eye screws. Interior bracing recommended. ; )

Comment by Vern Hallett on April 9, 2018 at 6:57am: The spring vibrates for a reverb/sustain type effect. Combined with a fairly stout string attack and volume swells you can create some neat "ghostly" tones.
