AGP, ya I sucked dust all afternoon. Not cedar, but maple and cherry. Making a batch of honey spoons for honey pots made yesterday. I work outside in summer and try to avoid the drift. Still have sawdust buggers though...

I can't help but admire (and envy) your skill and patience! Dave, look forward to seeing the finished product.

Be careful of that cedar dust though, my Thoracic Doctor told me a couple of years ago that (from memory) cedar dust etc. has a natural acid (or something similar) which can be harmful to your lungs, but your right it does smell good.

The cedar is light too. Now it,s sanded, the grain lines are like Doug fir.

I,m glad I chose Cedar for the first try Maddog. Hard Maple would take forever using my tools.
