Comment by Uncle John on April 7, 2023 at 3:11am: Glad you like the idea. I was a little worried I might offend you. Yeah, brown shoe polish maybe, maybe lightly sand and roughen the buttons first. I have used paint, but will try to remember the shoe polish idea. Maybe show us before and after pics.

Comment by Uncle John on April 5, 2023 at 1:11am: Oh! This one took my breath away. I love this kind of look. I like the dark painted neck under the sound hole too. If I had it for myself, I would somehow age the tuner buttons to match the age of the rest.
