Cherry Build VC002 007

I guess I am far enough along to post a few pictures. This will be a four string with a Humbucker Pickup, I may add a pre amp and graphic equalizer. No sound hole yet, or carving or wood burning.
The Nut is Ebony, the neck and box are Cherry. Black Walnut for the bracing and fret board. Need to order some treasures. All the wood was rough cut lumber kiln dried, from Sandyville, Jackson County, West Virginia
Body measures 13.5 inches x 10 1/4 wide,

Uncle John I tried another approach to bracing.

This design should stand any natural disaster except a Divorce.

Elk River Guitars is hard at work to make a CBG that will stand even that ;)
