This is my 3rd One String Cigar Box Guitar build. It has a simple neck through design made from Poplar wood that has been stained with barn red stain and sealed with Tru-Oil. The neck is 1" wide.

I was at Walmart the other day and saw the barn red stain and thought it would try it out.  It actually looks better in person.  It went to a consignment shop today along with the other ones and canjos.  They are having some bands come and play next weekend so I hope they sell.  I have sold about 10 canjos there already.

Nice stain. I thought it was Pauduk or something exotic.
