Thanks...yeah I do have big hands but even then I find that with that long slope, you don't really notice that it's getting thicker...it's a smooth transition. Try carving that shape out on a piece of scrap and see how it feels.

Sweet!  Looks great.  How does it play in the thicker area?  Is it a stretch on the fingers or you just have big hands?  I do like the look and think I'll head out to my work shop and ponder doing something similar to my current project.  Thanks for adding the back side pics.
