yup looks like a good conceipt. closest thing I could find was the 5 mag pickup.

Let's push things forward - I think your idea of putting the coils in a row is a step ahead. Yesterday I chatted with Bill from Canada, explaining the steps to produce the Flatpup. I really enjoy how new things develop.

It had been more than 80 years of the same humbuckers and single coils, time for new stuff :-) With so many creative guys around we can even reinvent the wheel :-))

Actually, the one thing (the most important thing) I meant to say by each picture....is credit for giving me the idea to experiment goes to Elmar!!  After hearing how great his Flatpups sounded, I came up with the nail idea and tried it out.  To my amazement, it worked.  Thanks again Elmar for blazing the trail.

The transverse mags do work fine as known from the Flatpups (I use tin instead of nails) - putting the coils in a row indeed is a new step!
