Comment by James Beard on August 14, 2011 at 8:51am: This portable PV system is designed to run the 250 watt Bose Compact M1 system for 8 hours without depleting the battery. I design for 50% battery drawdown which significantly increases the life of a deep cycle battery.

I am a solar design engineer so my wife thought that it would be cool to design a portable solar system for remote gigs. So here is our first production model, actually have several orders.
