This git very nearly didn't happen. I first assembled it about six weeks back, and once I put the first string on I knew it was wrong- the wood under the 0th fret had crumbled and it was never going to work. Put it aside, had a few dark nights of the soul, went back and retro-fitted #9, played silly buggers with sound holes... Finally bit the bullet, made a new neck- and here it is!
