Thanks Mr Juice, it does actually sit in my living room...but then so do all my guitars and amps. I have a very understanding girlfriend.

Mr Bug, that's a genius idea!!! With all the radio hacking going on here, maybe that's the perfect use for a radio.

what a find!!!!!!   my thought was wondered if you could keep some radio kit, so you could transmit with one of those ipod transmitters your backing track to the radio and then overlay the amp????

Cheers folks, the insides are from an old Bush amp. Beyond that I can't tell you anything else I'm afraid. My girlfriend was in fear as I turned it on for the first time, and to be honest, I was a little scared myself! But, no fire or explosion happened. Result!
