Yes, Wesseh is the guy who played gas can guitars from Africa who Shane was helping out, Brushy is from Jamaica tho? I joined the nation well before Brushy surfaced, but I posted his “chicken in the corn” video several times on the chat page about 9 years ago? Maybe that’s what you’re thinking about, hard to keep track of all the players out there these days?

Not resently! believe it must be quit a fjew years  back now ,maybee even before you joined? dono,my memmorie usaly surves me well , but you must know Shane better then i do, and you are closer to him then i do, when you have the chance, you can allway's ponder him about it if he remembers ,he told about him believe it was one of those trad songs whit corn in the ......he did not have the rasta look back then ,and he was facinated mostly becouse of the oil or petrol can guitar he played at the time. but then again i can be mistaken !

Yup BrianQ the simplisety from a board or plank, a wire ,and a tension construction to tune ,wheater it be a bottle a wood block  a can or what ever  ,to get a driving sound  as a acompinament  for the human voice is a great Human Folk contribution from the American People. but most americans are decendance from european or African ancesters so the hole thing is a means of  Human exspression whit a verbal  story telling Intend ,that ia a global thing ,like Gunpowder, Bookprinting,light ,music these are worldly human exspresions that divine who we are ! So Yes these exspressions move us and give us energie and soul power !

Moses Williams played a Diddley made from a hollow door, he also had some wire screwed into the wall of his home?
