Unc, you're too kind. Nah, just nice having options. 3x3 or 3x1 or even like some I've built 1x1 so two diff. tunings (pitches) and such. Someday I'll play more w. fretting and then do frets on one and unfretted on the 2nd neck on a build. Thx, -Glenn

Rope Walker, it's 22.5 in. tip-to-end on the 3 string neck, 20.75 in. on the diddley, box is 8.25 long x 18.75 and appx. 2 in. thick not counting strings. I may glue hardwood bridges in, we'll see. I have found shot necks can work fine and like these even get 2 octaves playable IF the neck wood and box can take the torque when using heavier gauge acoustic strings. Why those strings? Short scale necks offer better low-end tones w. such strings (like, low E, D and G (wound G or heaviest plain/unwound G). Scale bridge to nut on these: 3er is 14 in., diddley 18.75 (note -no- nut on the diddley, just straight to eyebolt tuner using a reserved wingnut to help keep string up high.

You know, I just figured out the reason that I don't feel right playing a double necker.  They feel too pretentious to me.  But this guy is humble.  Not pretentious at all.   Good recipe.

That’s a beauty Glenn. I await the Yahoo.

Cool! I can kinda guess the length by the chair and surroundings..,but it’d be nice to see ya play and to make hear ‘em. I’m working on a small 2 string to fit in carry on luggage. I’m wondering how short can you go.
