Thanks Ron. It maybe 1910. I couldn't even find Hugh Gunny, the City Clerk who signed the bottom by the seal.

Although there has been a resurgence since the early 60's of cigar factories in Key West. There are now about 15 or so factories, so it's also possible the box, which looks to be in great condition, may be from that period.

Cigar factories in Key West were pretty much done by around 1910. The box is quite likely at least that old.

My sister just gave me an old cigar box that belonged to my late Uncle, he was 92. I can't find any info on the web for the Tropical Cigar Factory of Key West Florida. On the back it states..."The ordinary retail price of the cigars herein contained is intended by the manufacturer to be more than 8 cents each and not more than 15 cents each."

Any idea how old this is? My Uncle Frankie was a WWII vet stationed in England in the Army Air Core. Thanks for your help.
