Thanks Uncle John,

I like it too.

Box is solid and made of meranti.( looks a bit like mahogany) It is a recycled door jamb from a renovation I did.

Finish is red lacquer base with a black crackle lacquer on top to "age" it. it is then distressed with sand paper and clear coated
